GOLD Creative Conscience Awards '21

an ART exhibition that tells the story of homelessness by creating awareness of their life circumstances.

If humans are a work of art, why is it okay to damage them and not art?

 

New York has the largest number of homeless people in the United States. Yet, not everyone understands the real causes of them being homeless which leads to them being mistreated and disregarded. But if for some it is okay to mistreat them, then what will they say when we imitate those actions to a precious artwork.

We gathered several stories from currently homeless people explaining their journeys and all their struggles.

These stories were replicated by inflicting them on artworks to later be placed around the streets close to the museum.
